Dobies Cumbria is a privately owned family run business, we have been serving customers within West Cumbria for over 50 years. Our headquarters are at Lillyhall Workington, and we employ around 100 people over 4 companies.
Established in 1973 by Bill Dobie in a small repair garage in Dearham, Emma Dobie his daughter joined the business in 2013.
Now Head Quartered at Lillyhall Workington in the iconic pyramid buildings.

You will find a 'one-stop shop' for all your motoring requirements offering new and used car sales, servicing and repairs, parts and accessories as well as an approved accident repair centre. We sell a full range of new Peugeot vehicles along with over 80 quality used vehicles covering all the popular makes and models. We also offer Motability Cars.
Our finance department began lending in 2013 and have provided personal and commercial finance to over 1200 customers since we began. As a family run business, we pride ourselves on the care that we can provide our customers and as such achieve long-standing relationships with the customers we lend to.
Started in 2011, we hold a number of residential and commercial properties and have developed such prestige residential developments as the Harbourside Apartments in Whitehaven and are currently re-developing the former Fire Headquarters in Cockermouth.
Established in 1983 the four-star hotel is based in Workington, a fabulous base for your exploring the Western Lake District and West Coast, whether away on business or with the family on vacation.

Many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years and some as long as 35 years, we even treat our long-standing "10 year club" members to a mini break each year!
